Tomorrow is only a day away.

Okay so tomorrow I am going into the studio with a few special orders to make. Last week in the studio it was about exploration and fun pushing my boundaries. Tomorrow is the opposite. I will have set parameters (within a creative way) because the cups i’m making are a reproduction of an earlier glass I made. The plan is to make these cups in ascending transparent red hues from light to dark with a ‘chain-link’ wrap for extra Roman style and flare. I also have a unique transparent green double tall shot glass to make.

Hopefully the glass g_ds are feeling generous tomorrow and favor me. Sometimes it can be a struggle to get the hands working in unison with my eyes. I mean, glass can be a very temper-mental material and act in surprising & unpredictable ways. The pressure is on when there is a desired outcome but the process needs figuring out in order to get the best results. So when doing custom orders like this I try not to get overly ambitious and keep a calm Zen like mind set.
